Eve Verberne Takes Helm as YESSSS’s North American Marketing Director

In a strategic move to bolster its presence in the North American market, YESSSS, a renowned marketing and business consultancy firm specialising in the marine sector, has announced the appointment of Eve Verberne as its new Marketing Director. Verberne will be at the helm of steering the company’s marketing management services, catering to a diverse range of clients within the marine industry.

The appointment comes as YESSSS continues to scale its operations, necessitating the need for someone with a profound understanding of marketing dynamics and extensive experience in the field. Nona Pedersen, Joint CEO of YESSSS, expressed confidence in Verberne’s ability to meet the company’s growing needs, citing her impressive international marketing experience and her familiarity with marine distributors, dealers, shipyards and end users.

Verberne’s professional journey in marketing traces back to her tenure with Oceanmax, now known as Propspeed. Here, she played a crucial role in expanding the brand’s global footprint and honing her expertise within the marine industry. Her career also includes notable stints with two London-based companies: Meristem Design, a green urban startup; and Business Launchpad, a charity organisation committed to aiding young entrepreneurs in establishing and managing their businesses.

Beyond her exceptional marketing management skills, Verberne brings to the table her proficiency in digital marketing. Her expertise encompasses areas such as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – all vital tools for businesses seeking to grow their presence in today’s digital landscape.

Verberne’s return to New Zealand saw her working with McKay in the marine and electrotechnology sector. Here, she was instrumental in marketing initiatives related to Ika Rere, the Southern Hemisphere’s maiden electric passenger ferry. She also lent her skills to Naut, McKay’s sister company specialising in electric propulsion systems for vessels between 19 – 40 feet (6 – 12 meters).

Now based in Whistler, Canada, Verberne is eager to embark on her new role with YESSSS. With her extensive background in marketing, both within and beyond the marine industry, she is poised to inject fresh ideas and drive tangible results for the company’s clients. She also looks forward to contributing to the overall marketing strategy, with the goal of propelling the YESSSS brand to new heights.

This appointment underscores the importance of having a seasoned marketing consultant at the helm of a company’s marketing strategy. In an era where digital marketing and generative AI are increasingly playing pivotal roles in business growth, Verberne’s expertise will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to YESSSS and its clients.

As YESSSS continues to expand its footprint in the North American market, the addition of Verberne to its team signifies the company’s commitment to delivering top-tier marketing solutions for its clients. With her wealth of experience and innovative approach, Verberne is set to make a significant impact on the company’s growth trajectory.
